SHISEIDO PROFESSIONAL is a leading professional haircare brand in Japan. This project includes brand visual design, social media identity, marketing campaigns, and promotional videos. It achieved a 9.7% increase in Instagram engagement from 2019 to 2020 and produced the key visual for the BEAUTY INNOVATOR AWARD 2020, a professional hair competition featuring leading beauty creators across Asia.

Design Process

Key Visuals

Beauty Innovator Award

I led the key visual design of the Taiwan region for the 2019 Beauty Innovator Award event, which was primarily applied to event campaigns, social media, and the visual elements of the final competition's venue.

Advertising

I take the lead in managing  product marketing activities and social media

I collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and create visual solutions. This includes Facebook, Instagram, and the Shiseido's official website.

Motion & Editing

I also worked on creating video editing, motion graphics, and more for brand marketing.

I led the design of the video post-production and editing.

This is a highlight for the 2019 Beauty Congress @Tokyo.

Photography

I was responsible for creative solution, photography, and photo editing.

We attempted to increase post frequency and visual diversity. We rented a photography studio for product shoots.

Impact

✅ The average reach of Instagram posts increased by 9.7% in 2020-2021, while Facebook saw a growth of 2.9% compared with previous year.
